1)what are some of the reasons why people would digitally manipulate an image? this is, what are the purposes or intentions?
- The reason people manipulate photos are because they are trying to show people how perfect models are and what the "perfect" body should be.
2) where do we draw the line? Consider fashion and news reporting?
- We should draw the line when we start showing models who's photos have been so manipulated that they make the model look like they have the best body even though that doesn't exist.
3)what is ethical - what should you do - in the digital manipulation and enhancement of photos?
- I think you can change little things like make lighting better change hair color, but changing parts of her body to make it look thinner is showing unrealistic standards to people who want to be like them, I think most/all of magazines change their models too much and don't show their true beauty and show fake models instead of the real ones.
